As funny as that is. It caused a stir in that town that's really not needed for us. Right now in NJ park systems in many counties are banning detecting since the start of American Digger first aired.Claiming poor detecting etiquette as the reasons. This week all of Burlinton county Parks is off limits!
It still kills me how hunters can walk in well groomed parks with shovels and relic shovels and not espect to cause a stir.

I hate to say it but I seen it the other day.
A guy in a ARPA protected site with a FULL Size Shovel and a Bounty Hunter type detector digging holes everywhere. I am guessing aRadio Shack detector.
I have a feeling there will be many signs going up soon saying no detecting.

That video was really awesome. Those kids are creative. Thanks far sharing. As for shovels in parks, I dare you to use one when I'm around, I'll set you straight VERY quickly. I enjoy hunting my local parks and am more than happy to piss someone else off rather than losing my right to hunt.
