A little of this and a little of that this morning.

Grabbed the LTD this morning to give it some turf time. Actually, our turf is bone dry and I felt its added depth over my Omega might be merited. Once again, good targets were few on this site, but did manage a 56d Rosie, a sterling ring, and 2 wheats, of any consequence of the few targets I dug. For those of you that don't frequent the Tek forum, I got my 101st silver coin for the year the other day, so the Rosie this morning helps to keep the silver hopper growing. The sterling ring is also my 3rd of those in the last couple of days. The 2 wheats are a 15d and a 44. My 9" pin pointer was all the way down in the hole when it hit the 15d wheat cent. The ring minnie appears to have been fired. Had on the 11"dd coil and running 4 disc, 85 sen, 4h tones and gb was 71-74. HH jim tn

Can't seem to be able to eliminate small rusty iron.

Nice detecting Jim. That is some deep find. Just thinking about digging down 9" gets me tired. I' ll have to lie down and rest now..... HH and Happy Trails....Z

The way things are going the past of days, I may be stuck I the present number. This morning I ran into a patch that was giving up 5-8" deep clad. Now that I don't like. Thanks everyone. HH jim tn
