A nice Barber quarter

Larry (IL)

Well-known member
Nancy and I had a chance to get out for a couple of hours today and I rescued this dandy from about 6 inches. A 1906-D, a solid F-12 and marginal VF-20, a $25-$40 quarter.......:clapping:
5 wheats, a copper pot, tootsie toy roadster and the usual odds and ends made for a pretty good outing.

What a beauty barber, great job Larry!

That is a beauty Larry! Is that handle next to it silver?

Hi Roy, haven't heard from you for a while....everything OK down South? I'll be in your town later this morning, time for a cup of Joe? I'll give you a call.

I think so BH. It rang up as a half $ and it looks like the top part of silverware, but it didn't come out of the ground looking like silver. It cleaned right up with a wire brush though.

Wow, Larry. What a PURTY Barber. Bets heck out of the '06 one I dug...very worn, last month.
