A nice Monday hunt at the local park...no silver

New member
Started in at about 8am with the Ace 250 thinking I'd just put in an
hour, not really expecting to find much as this place has
been hit again and again......BUT there is one area of grass
that butts up against a chain link fence no one ever bothers with.
It's a big stretch of green about 25 feet by 100 yars long. Cars
park next to it but no one ever thinks to MD there.
I decided to bother with it and picked up a nice amount of change
and a new mode of transportation.:)-)
Quarters $4.25
Dimes .90cents
Pennies .36cents
Total $5.51

The odd thing is four of those quarters came in between .1 cent and .10cents.
Figure that one out.

Good thinking on the location .
Good clad total .

I've had the same thing happen a few times of late.I was sure I was digging either a dime or a penny & BAM...A quarter pops out..Oh well it's better than the other way around..Congrats on the nice haul of clad

That happen to me today also. It registered Dime/penny and out pops a quarter. No other coin in the hole. Weird!
