A Question About Gary's "Sifter" Program And 5.2

Hi Guy's - I'm still running in 3.2 with a LF 9" coil.
I didn't get out to hunt as much as usual last year due to a very busy work schedule.
I hunt a lot of junk metal sites so I run Gary's "Sifter" program aprox. 90% of the time - really like this program - love Full Tones - tons of great finds !

So, my question is ...
If I upgrade to 5.2 ( and possibly a X-35 coil ) do I load the Sifter Program the same way I did in 3.2 or has the "Sifter" Program (or a very similar) already been added to the 5.2 factory preloaded programs ?

Thanks & Good Hunting !

I added Snifer and it was a learning and straight forward easy to add program but never having 3.2 I wouldn't know any changes but would think the same. It was not added to 5.2 but Hot and Deep were added.

Just drop the discrimination to -6.4 on version 5.2, you will see 3.2 will be on 0 at its lowest value.

Gary - May I please get clarification on the DISC setting in your Sifter program. In Andy’s 2nd book, the Sifter DISC says to start off at either 0 or 1. Your above post says to knock DISC down to -6.4. I run 4.1 and use the original LF coils along with the HF coils. I’m heading over to Colchester next week and, believe me, I need all the help I can get. Thank you, much appreciated.
