A short spin today, two beaches

Started out at the lake where I added to my total of Bullets from this beach 111 to date, a small amount of clad and half a pair of glasses, could not find the other half.A few pull tabs and the rest came from the second beach. Todays nut and some pixs. from the Gulf beach.

Don't worry he has been going to AA meetings and he is going on 2 weeks of not eating any live minelabs, just other Whites :whites:he will nibble on.
 
I was in Clearwater 2 weeks ago, while MDind I looked upon the beach and people were running and pointing into the water. About that time I herd a huge splash right behind me, turned to see two sets of Manatees slapping there tails in the water about 10 yards away. Strange for them to be in that shallow of water.( about waist deep).Some one said they were breeding.Whatever they were doing they got my attention, if they were to hit you with there tail it could really hurt you. I have swam with them in the wild before but never saw that behavior. If it had been night time I would have had a heart attack.HH thanks for the pix. of BRUCE
 
That said, I know two people who have been struck by lightning not including the time that my house was struck by lightning. All my electronics were fried and my wife and I had a nasty scare but no serious physical damage. Oh yeah, I almost forgot, the night my mother was born a bolt of lightning came down the chimney, scorched across the floor and burned a hole through the wall as it exited my grandparents home.

I was out one day at the beach, this summer gone, snorkling in about 6 ft of water, and heard the crys of children on the sand "shark, shark", and they were pointing right where I was. It swam by me, turned out to be a dolphin, but that didn't stop the hairs on the back of my neck stand tall!
 
Depends on how you look at it? Either you've used up all of your good luck by surviving the lightning strike and therefore at greater risk of getting chomped on by a shark:biteme: OR you are a really lucky guy and you could pet a shark without getting bit.
Check to see what's sitting on your shoulder, an angel or a devil.:lol:
