Hi pplinker,
I hate to disagree. Really I do. No one likes a party pooper or Debbie Downer. So don't take this personally . . .
It is my own personal understanding that if one digs EVERYTHING, he will find less good coins than someone is cherrypicking since
the one digging everything is spending so much time digging junk. Suppose we have two Deus detectorist in a trashy park.
Int the same trashy park:
Detectorist #1 spends 8 hours digging everything.
Detectorist #2 spends 8 hours digging high conductive numbers.
Detectorist #1 digs up 200 pieces of junk and finds 5 coins.
Detectorist #2 digs up only high conductive numbers and digs up 100 coins.
Who comes out the winner here?
They didn't put graphs and ID numbers on screens just for no reason.

Is that because everything in your sites that is left is nothing but foil and pull tabs?![]()
hairymonsterman said:Lol no, it's because that's where the thin silver and gold live in the UK, a pulltab, i think it's the square one is 71, same as a victorian gold 1/2 sovereign, hammered coins, cut halfs and quarters are 30 upwards, similar to the cut spanish silver found in the US, look at the cra-p the Hoover boys have to dig to find the spanish!
