abandoned park pays off again with large 10k class of 1955 ring

went back to the same area that I found the sterling insignia,. My buddy found two more mercs. I found an old 1970s toy gun, "police 45"(it looks like a .32 ACP tho) and the 25.2gram 10K college ring. The owner passed away in 1963 at the age of 30. The ring was over 8 inches deep, rang 22-31 on the Nox, real jumpy.

Great ring recovery, that one is a big old piece of gold!
 
Thats an early age to pass away, did the family know anything surrounding the disappearance of the ring???? Good recovery!!
