A good day in the mud but not a lot of stuff. I used the Platypus at the old school today. I went over the area the EQ 2 12" was used on. More finds came up. It was a little wetter than last time but these were between 6 and 8 inches deep. The EQ2 should have picked these up? All were covered in green as the one picture shows. I will be going back because I passed over I think 2 other Buffalo nickles. I had a good solid signal that was in the crown cap area and up pops a bison. All the wheats were heavy green. The one hole I had a mixed signal. Up came a wheat, I rescanned and on the second half of the signal was the bison. Once that was out another signal came up below the bison. And a 5 cent V nickle came out from 8 inches down. That signal did not appear until the Bison was out of the ground?. Paste the link to see the before pics. I have them soaking now. I also found a dog or cat tag. I am glad the rest wasn't attached as the other guy had found. The pic with the cat head was from the firs time their. Do to the wheeling and dealing with the owners. I gained access again until the end of the year and the neighbor has nothing he can say about it.
