After work hunt Part II

Went back to the same site where I found relics 2 weeks ago and met a Boy Scout leader and her son who were heading for a meeting. She told me I wouldn't find anything there but maybe some keys from a key manufacturer that was there in the 1940s. They were amazed when I showed them what I had found.

what I find troubling is a Female Boy Scout leader.....but then again, I'm sort of old, back from the days when Men taught boys important stuff, not busting chops, or wanting to detract from your wonderful hunt, I suppose most of the Wimmen now a days are more Manly than most men....

It's tough to be a male scout leader these days. Too many creeps seek out positions such as scout leader, youth minister, coaching staff, or even Priest to easily manipulate impressionable boys. Women have taken on this roll to alleviate some of the uneasiness of sending your child on a camp-out with a man who's motives are questionable. Not that a woman is not capable of such a horrific crime, but let's be real, it's an extremely slim chance compared to the history of men.
Mudpuppy, there were 15 keys on that ring, plus a couple of steel keys that rusted away.
The dimes were 1924S and 1928S
The nickels were 1901 and 1898
The silver 20 Centavo piece was from Mexico
The Buffalos were 1936, 1923, and dateless
The large copper coin was a 1953 20 Centavos
The bronze bell is very thick and heavy
The Texas star button is interesting. Haven't found any info on it yet. Waterbury Button Co.
