The time has come to hang up the old detector. My mind can still hunt all day but my body says differently. So, I've decided to sell my MXT and CZ-20 and move on. A simple hour and a half hunt on Saturday morning puts me out of commission for the rest of the day and Sunday too. The pain is just not worth it. I'll be checking back from time to time to see what you're finding. Happy Hunting!

Stay around and check what's happening and enjoy what's going on. Don't sell your computer, you'll need it to keep in touch as all the people here are all your friends and enjoy your company even if you can't get out detecting anymore.

Ron, Sorry to see your retiring from the Hobby,.... but glad you will still be with us. I'm near Baltimore, if you ever want to go watch the boys hunt on the weekends at Sandy Point, your more then welcome to ride along...Merry Christmas from the Oldebeechnut....
 
Hi Ron....sorry to hear you are joining me in not being able to go :detecting: any more, as I've been out of commission for quite some time now! I know what pain is and I hope and pray you are feeling better soon with less pain and soreness in your body! There comes a time when things do end and if living long enough, everyone will go through it sooner or later! May God Bless and be sure to post and keep us updated on how you are doing? One good thing about the forum you can read plenty and see many good finds.....its all Gods anyway not our own so we can still enjoy much much hunting and finding a lot of folks share their finds so well here its almost like being there anyway God Bless, God IS Awesome Trust and give Him all the Glory for now and evermore.......bro.......Dan
 
Food for Thought ? Maybe you could find someone to go with you to do the digging ? Sell your MXT & CZ20 and purchase a Minelab X-Terra 50 or 70, as they're both extremely light and easy to swing all day, without fatique. Let someone else help you with the digging. Hey, Mike (chgo area) and Pete, it isn't the age but the mileage one puts on these mortal chassises and how our immune system is....some weather age and health better than others and ya both are still young whipper snappers compared to me! :shrug: :lol: May God Bless everyone to keep on keepin' on in faith and with the ability to keep hunting treasure on earth and laying up more in the heavenly realm!
