Hello, I'm a long time Explorer II user, and hunt in basically two modes. 1. Conductive with just iron mask of 13, and 2. Ferrous with no discrimination. Is there a "Ferrous tones" on the CTX (non-ferrous high tones, ferrous low tones)? I heard on one of the many videos that you can adjust the volume of the "iron" tone, which would be nice. Thanks in advance.

It would be a great update if the software allowed the engineers to do it...volume controls for each bin in Combined! Been mentioned before and is being mentioned again, because it works really well on the Equinox 800. There are still MANY die hard etrac and CTX users, an update to make a couple things possible would be quite a thing. But for now as Sube said...sorry.

Thank guys, No volume control over tones, darn. How about this: Does the CTX have "Ferrous Sounds" where Ferrous is a low tone and conductive is high? (Like the Explorer has Ferrous and Conductive sounds) Thanks - Robin

This is correct you can have 50 tones 75 to 1200 being highest or set 2 tone one high one low and 4 tone set them to any pitch you want .You can also set your high conductors with a low tone and your low tones with a high tone lots of ways to set it up .Read the manual it well explain it . sube
