And the hunting week continues.

Didn't get a lot on my morning outing, but did manage a couple of keeper coins and a minnie drop, of the most notable recoveries. The small token is a Memphis good for one fare transit token and the tag with 12 on it would be just a guess. I'm thinking the nail looking item might be a golf tee and the head has "scully" on it. The Omega and I re-hunted a stretch that I have been over before with both the Omega and LTD in north, south and east, west directions. This morning I hunted the area at angles. The 62 Rosie started out as a one way hit, but became a high tone tic in both directions after moving around it, with a somewhat bouncy reading. It ended up being on edge between 4 and 5" deep. The 07 IH bounced a couple of numbers on each side of 80 with a mid and high tone mix. I've grown to like that reading(s) and mix of tone as it is usually a wheat cent and on occasion an IH. I hunted in d3 tones this morning, other wise all settings as yesterday. Thanks for looking. HH jim tn

YOU ARE THE MAN !!!..... I can't wait till your able to get in the woods..

Thanks El. Woods hunting is getting close here. Lots of leaves yet to drop, but ground cover is thinning. Hasn't been cold enough yet to put all the tic's and critters to sleep for the winter. Rain and cold front coming in tonight, though. HH jim tn

Jim, whats the annual silver coin count as of today? I think my prediction was 147 by years end. And keep on posting your finds, I get a kick out of them. (lower back condition has me sidelined for awhile).

I am setting on 126. No silver this morning. Right now I'll take the 147 number and run. Of late, silver has been coming in bunches of 1 and not 1 per hunt. Got a JACK TUCKER hexagon shaped token(about quarter size) with 2 1/2 on it. Anybody have any ideas. The back side is blank. It was about 5" deep, so thinking it may have some age??? I did a quick google, but there are numerous jack tucker's to wade through. Thanks everyone. HH jim tn
