Andys coin program...

I recently downloaded his pattern to my e-trac. I seem to be getting more false readings...am I missing something? Do I need to adjust any of the settings....sensitivity,audio,discrimination...etc. I am currently running manual sensitivity 24 and tone id multi and conductive and also tried the 2 tone ferrous,to me it still is picking up more falsings. I have also done the noise cancel. Also where I live there is a lot of red clay, will this alter the detector when compared to an area with very little red clay? Thank you

Such is the bane of going down to the 27 line. I pretty much use it exclusively, but wouldn't have a problem bringing the line up to around 20 or so. Yes, I have found coins below the 20 Co and even on video I had a wheat that read 27. But it is rare. I'd probably say you'll get even more falsing in your red clay. Sounds like Ryan Chappell's ground there in Georgia or thereabouts.

that much red clay with your sens up that high may be your problem,,,,try turning it down until you lose the falses,,,
