Another 3030 gold ring...

This was lost in 1998 and the owner passed away in 2000. Her parents are still here and will be getting it back very soon. This one hit at 12-06 and was only about 4 inches deep. All I knew was that it was lost in a 20 acre field on a hayride in 1998. I got lucky on finding it.

Wow, great find. I'm sure the parents will be overjoyed to have this back.

That is a great story and interesting ring. Congrats on the find and on the return! btw, 12:06 on my chart for CO number on the CTX 3030 and gold ring weight suggests that the ring weighs about 4-5g.

Interesting on CO numbers vs weight. I didn't get to weight it though. Would you be opposed to sharing your chart?
