Another Busy Day...some cool finds

Hello Everyone,
I hit an old estate yesterday for about 7 hours. I believe it had been hit hard in the past, when it lay vacant. No old coins, but one 67 Kennedy half. My 2nd this week. About $2 in clad. Quite a mix of items. I really like the old cars and cap pistols that I found. The water fixtures all rang up in the silver range. 37-38 so I had to dig! It almost became a joke there were so many. The angel looks like it use to pee water. Will go back and hit it again soon. Lots of cans and slaw.

The car should say Vauxhill not Vauxhall

Those are some cool finds. I love finding the old toys that kids played with. I haven't been out much lately as it's fall and the fly fishing is good right now. Summer I am always backpacking. I will be out detecting a lot more in Jan, Feb, March.

Thanks for posting your finds.

Dan, I can forgive you for not hunting if the fish are biting!!! LOL.
Hope you can get out soon. You must be in the south if you MD during the winter. Me too!

My Bad, the car is a Vauxhall not what I typed on the photo as Vauxhqll.
Thanks,

Nope, Boise, Idaho. Winters are pretty mild though. If the temp gets to 45 by around 1:00pm in the winter, it's time to go detectin. The ground here very rarely ever freezes. I really prefer hunting during these months as the parks are empty.

Hey Bunky, nice variety of finds there. Did the estate have it's own hardware store or what? LOL....Really like the peeing cherub..reminds me of that scene from Austin Powers....I'm sure that you'll be back there determining the likely places that still may be hiding silver...

You know I will be back!!! There has got to be some silver there somewhere!!! It takes up about 4-5 acres on the water. There use to be a boat house there as well. My wife says one of the cap guns was probably hers. She use to run around there and play with the little boy that lived there.

The peeing boy is a statue in Brussels, Belgium. It is most likely a souvenir brought back from Europe, as there are dozens of shops near the stature.

Thanks Diggitty, that is some cool info for sure. I will check it out. Thanks for looking and your info!
