Another couple hours at the old acadian

Louisiana Ken

New member
Went there for a couple of hours working the iron and found another 1911 "V" nickel and as I was leaving I got a good target signal. When a silver colored button came out of the ground covered in hard dirt I didn't think much of it. Thought it was fairly new being silver colored and in that shape. When I got home and took a tooth brush to it just to see if it had a design. I was shocked! A small eagle military button. Didn't think they came that small. If anyone is a button expert please let me know what iv'e got.

Thank You and HH,

Kenny

Ken,

I have found one of those buttons, but not in that good of shape. It could be a bit older than yours by the way the back looks, but here is a link to get you started on the ID.
