Another newbie question

Do you do anything to the 600 when you take it into the water? I know they say it is totally waterproof up to 16 feet. But the little screw in plug for the headphones don't seem very water tight. And was wondering about the speaker.

Sink it now while it’s under warranty 🤭
There are some that had “waterproof issues” in the beginning. Although I haven’t heard of any in a while. The max depth the 600/800 can be submerged to is 10 feet.

So this Bares another question, if the detector is underwater but you are not can you still use the regular wireless headphones?

The Headphone socket is waterproof itself even without the plug
