is it safe to say that if i dont have waterproof headphones and i screw the plug into the headphone jack and make sure the tcap is on the usb port that i could snorkle with this machine and just watch screen..i was with a guy today who had 1 ,, i was on the beach and he said you can do that but when he stuck his under and brought it back up the speaker sounded muffled.. he said when it dried out it was just like new. he wasnt using the module or headphones..???? was wondering why the speaker was muffled . you could hear it fine but just not as loud:shrug:

I have waded in the lakes neck deep with waterproof grey ghost phones but when I come out of the water the speaker is muffled till it dries out so I think that is just how it holds water.

gotta get me some waterproof headphones. HH

Bart has the Grey Ghost underwaters specifically for the CTX. They are very nice. I use mine in the rain to keep everything water tight.
