went back to the seated field. first signsl was choppy at about 10 inches. revmoved a bunch of dirt and rechecked and the signal was gone. Not even in the pile. Thought maybe trash, but when I stuck the X-1 in the hole it screamed out loud. so I removed some more and there she was. 1st seated quarter. She is 1876 S. That is the second to come from the field, but my first. worked real slow and managed to pick up an 1882 indian. Unfortunatelym the wind was screaming and I ended up cutting it short. Been sick and the wind was not helping. still think there are a lot of coins still left at this place, but it is going to take time to work it.

Congratulations on your first seated quarter Shawn! Thanks for the pictures. I'd agree with you....still lots of coins left there.
