Went out for about 4

popping out for you in the near future. You are ending this hunting season on a high note...and I bet you have a great year next year. Congrats on silver #2...and here's to many more:cheers:

Looks as if the reading on the forum and questions is paying off for you King. And to find 2 large silvers right out of the chute is wonderful and it still gets better. If that place has been around for a 100 years there has to be a lot older coins there. As Eddie said earlier keep out of the gym for awhile and hit it some more before everything freezes up for you. Nice finds King

Nice going King.:clapping:You stayed out of that gym didn't you.:super: Hit that place some more as we all know you might be just beginning to scratch the surface of this area. Once you get through all the trash and clad then the good stuff will start poping out, but heck, you are finding stuff that isn't that deep. Slow and low is the game and HH on your next outing at this place.

Eddie

Congratulations on another Silver. Your doing great on the Bigger Silver King and hope it continues for you. Hopefully when you make it out next, you'll be bringing home more Silver and other treasures to post. You should be on Easy Street now and the finds should start to surface more often for you. Again, Congrats and Good Luck and HH on your next BIG HUNT!

Ed,

Is that your slogan, "Slow & low" because I kept thinking of it today as I was swinging. With the settings I am using it is recommended to go even slower than usual because of all the info you are getting. I have been working out on Sat & Sun now so I can have Mo & Tues off from the gym which frees me up for other things :detecting:

I work Sat and I have other things going on a Sun so might as well work out because the day is shot anyways so my Mo & Tues are free. So I am still working out 5X's/wk. It's easier that way.

Sat. -- bi's & tri's
Sun -- chest & abs
Wed. -- back
Thurs -- shoulders, calves & abs
Fri -- quads & hamstrings

I do 30 min of cardio after each workout during the week as well.

It keeps me in pretty good shape. You have to take care of yourself as you get older. If you don't you'll be paying the price down the line. I've been athletic all my life, baseball, basketball, track. Most people do not take care of themselves and if you never started when you were younger or were athletic at sometime then usually you'll never give it any attention UNTIL something bad happens to you or your doctor gives you some warnings, etc. What happens to a lot of MD. They are sitting in a closet because it takes effort & determination to learn it and TIME. Everyone has different priorities and that's their business but working out does pay off in a big way and that I will never stop. I don't spend a lot of time in the gym. I am not there for a social outlet. I move faster than just about anyone in a gym.

It's paid off in swinging the SE. I never get sore from swinging it for hours on end or my legs get sore or my lower back because of the training I put them through. I also practice good ergonomics with it too. In MD it's not the weight per say but the repetition that can especially wear the joints down or exaggerate a weakness in your body structure.

That's why when I was looking at the X-1 it says to state what arm you use. I use both to minimize strain.

I have been cleaning for 20 years and imagine as with anything you do you use your dominant side all the time. I am right handed but in basketball I could shoot both hands but when I clean sometimes I start using my left hand to give the right side a break and believe it or not it feels pretty good cause the other side is getting a rest.

I kinda got off the MD track, heehee. That's enough for me now. I'll be back later on tonight :beers:

I think next year is going to be a blast. I already have more sites to do than I have time already.

Cool, a workout warrior like me! I'm 41 and stopped following a routine though ... just do whatever my body tells me to do on workout days. I alway hit the cardio hard though and can still do sub 6 minute miles. Being in shape definitely helps, it allows you to hit the steep hillsides and crash through brush and walk long distances and have confidence to get to places others would avoid. The only physical problem I ever had was a "detecting elbow" experience during the first two weeks I owned my Explorer holy cow did that ever hurt but I just worked through it and it went away eventually .

What's that detecting elbow? Is that when people instead of swinging their arm as one unit they try to use more elbow?

cardio is the most important as you know. makes a big difference in your energy level

To all,

Now I just need a merc, a barber, a V nickel an IH and a SLQ. I know in that park I'm hunting that their are Merc's. When I grid that place out I'm sure to find at least one. That is if snow isn't on the ground.

GR,

what's WTG and N/T mean??

Funny,

N/T

the unspeakable phrase that all men fear
