Antenna set up

First time using the Deus2 with antenna attached.. anyone got a good setup.. what’s the best way to wrap the stock antenna wire?
I’ve been told a shorter wire can help.. appreciate any help/ideas... joe

Just wrap it round stem and drilled a hole at the handle to plug in the square bit

I bought the shorter antenna wire. Just about 4 wraps andI'm done. I hated the long one. No problems with water hunting. with the antenna wire, the machine performs great with it.

I have a carbon fiber lower that has a hole in it to run the wire inside the rod
I have read others saying they figured out a way to run it inside which is always best
