Wondering if anyone has any tips on using the etrac on the beach? I will be going to the outer banks in N.C. for a couple days. I will be searching dry and wet sand and may venture into the surf a foot or two. thanks for the help

Dont make the mistake i did you need a beach shovel where the scoop on the bottom like a shovel

If you use the coil in the water DO NOT RAISE IT ABOVE THE CONTROL HEAD as water will drain back into it.
I use a WOT coil on the beach. Not so much for more depth but more coverage. I run my E-Trac with only a couple lines of discrimination on the bottom and DIG EVERYTHING!

Dig EVERYTHING even remotely related to the Gold range ......I got lazy on #15 pull tabs on my first beach hunt .....I gave away the spot where my Safari rang another #15, and passed it by, and my buddy dug a 13 grm Platinum ring after me pointing to the spot !!!.... .......I've dug EVERYTHING since then on the beach ....Jim
