Any ideas on what this is?

Its a recessed finger pull, sliding door handle. Also, It could be a Window sash lift. Both have the same style handle but I would think the window sash lifts would be the smaller of the two. The back is not meant to come off, its just made in 2 pieces but most are 1 piece.
