Any idea as to it's composition? Find anything else near it? Location...homesite, farm, open range, industrial site, park, amusement area, etc.???
I think it’s brass . I found it on a old homesite

I was originally thinking an ink stamp or wax seal thingy.

Wax seal "thingy" is a good guess. I lean that way as well.
Thank you that sounds right . I’ll test that theory with some wax and show the results
