Any of you use a gold detector for coins and relics??

I see on Minelab's website they have just introduced the GPX 4800 and GPX 5000. Huge battery pack and no meter. But if they can ignore iron, discriminate out ferrous targets and detects to super depths, they might be one bad coin and relic detector for those iron infested farm sites. Just wondering if any of you have tried one of the earlier GPX models for coins or relics? HH Randy

These were found with a large mono coil, searching in all metal, using line paint and a VLF detector for discrimination..
DD coils discriminate and are great for highly mineralized sites, but the real depth is achieved using large mono coils.
