Is that the bottom of the line for Fisher??? I remember owning a cheap Fisher, maybe F5. The numbers bounced sooo much I could not tell what the heck was under the coil.would like to know how deep on targets does it go? Does it have a stable coil? How is it on gold and silver? What is the time limit on the batteries?Thank you C.J.M. (texas)
Need short way to set it up.CURVE is to long for this 85 year old. What sort of information are you wanting?
What was the factory defect?I've owned my F5 for 11 years now, it's my only detector and I love it.
It goes 9" deep on a silver dime, it has two 9 volt batteries that last 40 hours plus plus outstanding modulated sound that you can ask for.
I hunt with my brother who uses an etract and both units love silver.
If you go to all metal mode you can add an extra inch to your depth.
I bought my unit used back in 2014 for 250$ and only once had to send it in for repairs and they didn't even charge me for the repairs because they said it was a factory defect.
With my experience and the quality of this machine I feel comfortable that if there's silver under my coil I'll know it.

Thank you,but I have one .You r best bet is to just read the manual. I can send you a copy if you need it.
IF YOU GO ALL-METAL ---WHATS THE NEXT STEP ? Thank you.I've owned my F5 for 11 years now, it's my only detector and I love it.
