Anyone modify a vanquish making it waterproof yet?

it failed back to the drawing board
i have a legend
 
heres the new mod havent tested it for leaks but as soon the silicone drys i will
no more of these otter boxes hope this works

Now that's what I'm talking about! Look forward to seeing the final product
Finally , got it done. Couldn't find a suitable stem handle, so I just cut off the control box and made up a bracket attachment.
Extended the cable by 3 ft, works fine.
I can throw the control box in a small back knapsack/bag , and hunt by sound , did everything above iron.

well its looking like tupperware otter box failed
now for the silicone to dry & the water test so far its looking good

i cut it up now i have to find a solution
the vanquish 440 is a good detector has found lots of gold
i put rechargeable battery's in & the meter is visible
time will tell
 
i got a legend to
but i love my vanquish 440 it loves gold jewelry & now its waterproof
 
waterproof thing failed :(
 
no vanquish still working but its looking odd lol
its a 1 of a kind

Latest Vnquish 440 water mod. Sewed the control headcover on to a Minelab cap and use it like a Detectorpro headhunter pirate metal detector (electronics in the headphone).

1st test water hunt, works great, not much loot though, just 4 quarters, and 2 pulltabs...the beach was clean!

you can buy a Xterra Pro for around 235.00 , waterproof headphones 125.00 $360 and you can dunk it and not worry about destroying it. HH Tony
