Anyone use this coil on their E-Trac ...

I have been using this coil the last few times out dirt fishing for coins and it seems to be a very good coil.
Any of you long time E-trac users ever tried one?

It is quiet and deep.

I have one and used it a lot before I got the 8x6 sef.It is a great coil with good depth and separation.

Ray, the SEF is a bit heavier ... I guess you feel it gets deeper or you would not use it ... right?

Actually It is quite a bit bigger at 11x8 than the 8x6 sef so I use the pro coil instead of the Platypus for the most part.I use the 8x6 in very heavy trash only and it is not as deep as the 11x8 Platypus in my experience.

I used to have one that I used on my Explorer 2 and then the E-trac. Then I discovered SEF coils. The Platypus went with the Explorer when I sold it but its a great coil. Stable, separates good and goes fairly deep. A good all around size also.
