Anyone using the 6" coil ?

I do a lot of old park hunting and sometimes wonder if I am missing anything with the stock coil. Most of the parks I hunt are very trashy. I am hopeful of getting 8" from the 6 in coil. Will the coil seek out coins that would be missed by the stock coil in heavy trash. Would like to hear anyones experience with the coil.

I just ordered mine should be here by the weekend so i can test it out. If its anything like other small coils for minelabs 8 inches shouldn't be a problem.

You wont be disappointed. I think the separation is incredible. The best way to describe the little 6" is that it makes trashy parks seem not so trashy after all. You'll see. HH

Who has the 6" coil in stock? I've looked all over for it.

Absolutely! I don't see much more than a couple inches difference between the depth of the stock coil and the 6-inch. And the target separation is outstanding. HH Randy

I have been using the 6" coil nearly all the time, the last two or three weeks. I have been hunting some vacant lots that are heavily loaded with nails and aluminum trash. The 6" does a great job of enabling you to recover good targets located amid all the trash. You just can't get in a hurry and try to cover a lot of ground.

Here are a couple of posts I made a couple of weeks ago when I started using the 6".....HH
