Looking forward to the new Apex. First Garrett I bought was the At Pro. Then the AT Gold . then back to the Pro and then a few of the Max's. Never one problem. Built like a tank. I've bought and sold detectors costing 2-3 times the Apex cost already this year. They simply build quality. How is their service center? Like I say, I never needed it.

Many people have responded that Garrett customer service is #1! Of course, being made in USA is also bonus. Stay safe!

One can look at Garrett Apex and tell the craftsmanship that has long been established by the company is there! I have just watched a video on the Apex on the beach, and most likely with the bundle being extremely competitive it will be an addition to my other metal detectors! And, made in the U S A! ! ! Awesome!

Leatherneck, assume you were a Marine? My roommate in flight training was (is) a Marine. He was definitely "squared away" but a little squirrely. We got along great.
