AQ and clad?

Anyone know of video showing the AQ missing clad? It has a reputation for it and I’m wondering if anyone has looked into it in detail.

I've dug some extremely deep clad with mine. Don't know how I'd determine if I missed any without a test garden set up with clad of various denominations and various depths; which I do not have set up. On some not so deep clad it makes a terribly modulated sound that sounds like trash, which I might walk away from. I've dug enough of those to learn to flip it to tone and see if it goes low tone and smooths out. If it does smooth out with a solid low tone, it is likely a dime or quarter.

Congrats on using the machine to its full capabilities. I switch off between the AQ and manticore - usually even same day. I get used to one and have to relearn the other. I usually run the AQ in all metal and dig all. I can’t do that with the manticore unless I back way off on the sensitivity - which I suppose is how it is supposed to be run. I have had a couple hunts now where a manticore did much better on clad on either same day or near to it. Both find the good stuff though…
