Are Minelab prices.....

But seriously, I did hear rumor the SE's & Safari's were going up, but not sure how true this is. Curious if this was accurate myself.

I don't have a clue Del. It seems like everything goes up, but with the question about their performance (in their "turnaround" time on repairs) going around on the forums, I'd be scared to raise prices just yet. I still haven't seen my 8" coil from Minelab through K.Co, and its closing in on 9 months. BUT I do not have the "killer" instinct in business. I'm old school, your SATISFACTION is worth MORE to me than your MONEY!!!!!

Nah Brian---I was goin to get you an ole beat up used SE for Christmas but you "landed" that fine Etrac----so I got out of that one! ------Think you're right on that Troy.---Just keep waiting & hoping Minelab will get there (repair) turn around time more under control.---I think it has gotten some better, hasn't it?----I know one guy said he got his back from repair in 2 weeks, but then he lived 500 miles from Chicago.-------Anyway, I was just curious about price increases (or not).----------Del

Well some of the prices have gone up already on accesories, for example E-Trac lower shafts went up about $6.00 and the battery packs are up as well. I do not know about detectors, the Safari an Se Pro's were on a holiday special and were reduced about $200 and $100 respectively.

The SE Pro and the Safari are on sale until the end of the month while the Sovereign GT is suppose to go up $200 the middle of this month. Some of us wonder if the increase on the GT Minelab will include more with them or maybe a new model GT coming out.
