Arrow head, civil war and 2 cent piece!

Well today was a grand day.... for my dad! We headed out to a permission he got for us about 20 minutes away. A field where a house from 1873 stood. Most likely a much older house before that as well. Started off real slow with a wheat and some clad by the driveway or where it used to be. I hear him yell something and wave me over. He already has his phone out ready to take a picture. His first complete arrow head and a beautiful one to boot! After that nothing else and then I look up about 20 minutes later and he is waving me over again. He hands me a real weird sized coin and we sprayed it off a bit and all I saw was a 2 with a wreath. His first 2 cent piece! We got it home and cleaned it up and it’s an 1869! 2 firsts for him today! I found most of the clad and a 1924 wheat along with a civil war eagle button and an old flat button. Would call today a success in my book. We will for sure be going back this fall after the dirt gets moved around again.
