Artillery ground burst & shell....

conehead

New member
Been out relic hunting this week, had some beautiful Fall weather to get out and detect.
Was hunting a new area of a battlefield I've hunted for years and found my first ground burst artillery shell.
After getting all the pieces dug I started checking the surrounding area and about 100 ft away I found a complete 10 lb. Parrott shell.
Thought you guys would like to see, the complete shell was about a foot deep.
I was using my Omega detector with the NEL Hunter coil. HH & good luck........conehead
