Went Snowshoeing Saturday, came back to town and hit the park again. Found my very first Gold class ring from 1959. Also found 3 war nickels, 3 buffalo nickels, 1 silver rosie and several more wheats. Also posting a pic of the latest button I found last week.

Nice ring.. How did it register?

Newbie here. Beautiful finds, Dan. I'll be looking to upgrade to a Safari from a BH Landstar in a couple weeks.. This forum's got me stoked, for sure..
If you're inclined, that ring may be fairly easy to return to the owner.. It seems one of the likely high school's could be Rio Vista HS, Rio Vista, Ca (home of the Rams) NorCal.
I had the satisfaction of a returning a 1964 men's Columbia HS (Maplewood, NJ) ring to the rightful owner last summer that I found in Long Branch, NJ. The guy (residing in Florida) lost the ring when just out of high school on the beach and received it from me in time to bring to his high school reunion...He certainly had a story to share with his former classmates...Keep posting those great finds..
