AT Gold outing

Howdy all,
new to this part of the forum, I have always been a coin and relic hunter, but recently got interested in prospecting and bought an AT Gold to mix up my detecting. A friend of mine has a hookup on a good claim and I convinced him to take me along for a weekend. It was a lot of work and digging, but here is my first weekend of detecting for gold. It sure was fun and hope to get out again soon!
:detecting:

These were all found very shallow, as I was detecting my dug dirt as we were prospecting. All were found in less than 2-3" of dug dirt. Total weight was 2.4g. The chunky and flat pieces were found a few miles from each other. Thanks guys!

Congratulations! That looks like a pretty darn good first weekend of prospecting!

Beautiful Pic of the nuggets and writeup! You better get back out in the gold fields before ice up!
