Found this 1944 class ring with the AT Pro and the 5x8DD coil in a mega-trashy area at about 3-4 inches deep. The VDI jumped from 69-70. It is a 10K ring. The part that identified the school was gone when I dug up the ring. You can see where it attached to the top of the ring.

Excellent find! I wonder if you could go back to the site where you found it and sift the soil for the missing top?
