Took the day off and enjoyed an afternoon taking photos and having lunch at the airport. Not a lot going on, but a few of our Nations Finest dropped by. A NASA F-18 from the Armstrong Flight Research Center was parked on the ramp. It came in yesterday but was unable to leave due to technical problems. 3 Navy T-44 trainers stopped in for fuel and the crews had lunch. And last but not least, a pair of Air Force T-38's did a break at mid-field before landing for fuel and lunch. Not too bad for a day off.
