I finally got to go to a local park with my new Gamma 6000 and I am very happy with how this detector responds in trashy areas with its target separation abilities. The first picture, the one with the watch, was taken on the 28th and the other was taken on the 29th. The Gamma has a quick recovery rate and was a joy to hunt with. Deepest coin was 4 to 5 inches. Sens @ 60, disc @ 20, GB 68-72. I ordered an 11 inch DD coil to try in an area that is no longer used, but was once several ball fields. Maybe some deeper silver coins?
In my front yard, which I thought was hunted out by my Pioneer 505, I managed to pull 3 pennies out of an area with a high amount of iron trash. I was very surprised by this as I am quite proficient with the 505. Looking forward to future hunts with the Gamma, I can definitely get used to this machine. I will probably get the smaller 5 inch DD coil next week. If it does for the Gamma what the 4 inch coil did for the 505, I will be a very happy camper! Take care everyone, and Happy Hunting!
