Australian coins with F2

New member
Went out on a half day hunt at an old market with mostly wood chip base. Nice results. The board at the back is $108 Australian dollars and is my loot from the day.
The board at the front is my friends and is $123 Australian dollars. The gold coins are 1 and 2 dollar coins with the 2 dollar being the smaller of the two. The other Coin is a 50c piece.
5's 10's and 20's did not make the pic and we no longer use 1 or 2 cent pieces.
PS he was using minelab sov with 10 inch dd and we shared the total of $231

So, not only are you guys finding gold nuggets all over the place, you can find this much coinage in a 1/2 day hunt?

Ok...I officially hate you guys!

(Still love your accents, though!)

Great finds bet it was a blast HH

a wonderful hunt and congratulations...........how do you find thw sov compares with the f2 as the f2 is a lot cheaper and sound very capable .............aussie

Aussie you in AUS?
sov is heavier and five times the price
as you can see he had $123 and I had $108 so thats about 10 % difference
I have had a drunken bicycle accident and separated my shoulder (th AC joint) so I LOVE the lighness of the F2.
sov does well too but i'z likes me numbers hahhahahahhaha.
sov goes deeper but F2 is plenty deep when you are in a public area.
if you have any more q's feel free to ask

yes I am in Aus. living in the blue mountains. I was mainly interested how you get on with fixed ground balance. I have a couple of bounty hunters with auto balance plus a xterra 705 but I am looking at something for my son that can also handle hot ground...............everything about the f2 iscertainly well proven.....aussie

Nice one Terra

will use the sniff function in future if I'm just on a quick hunt for these baby's

the difference in conductivity will have them both under the same "Sniff zone"

you are making a good decision. It will be used and loved by someone who cares a damn
