AWESOME IOWA NIGHT!

3.5 hours produced some good finds. 1917 merc, 1916 buffalo, 3 green ladies, 1894, 1898, and a 1907! Wheats: 1910, 1911, 1917d, 1918 and 1919. Also some 40's and 50's wheats. This was one of those yards where there were goodies every 5 yards. Wheats and merc came in @ 38. Green ladies @ 34-35, and the buff @ 14. I usually don't dig shallow 14's, but this one was deep! Pinpointed it perfect. I cut the plug, pulled it up, and there was, face to face with sitting bull. So now brothers, I am having a beer, thinking about my posse's saturday expedition. Going to an old western Iowa townsite that is going to get scraped with a D9. This is an 1860's settlement.
