it was a great experience. Just got to hunt one evening, but it was fun even though I just got some clad and lincs (NO GOLD) Found out that a good long handled scoop would have been a nice tool to have had with me. When tectin close to the waters edge (The lane as beach hunters call it) The waves will fill your holes faster than you can dig them. Had to leave some good beeps because of that. Also found out my Ace 250 falses a lot in wet sand, but the GTI 2500 did ok in both wet/dry sand and in the surf. It didn't false any. The 250 did ok in dry sand. The problem could have been in the operator though. Seems I do a lot better finding stuff here in the KY hill country. Beach tectin is a field of its own, but I had fun in the short time doing it and did my part in cleaning the beach of bottle caps, tabs, and junk. Maybe the next time I'll be better prepared.
