Back to Church

Ran out to hunt for an hour and a half before dark Sunday night with my brother Tom and got lucky with a couple of keepers - 4 wheats including a nice 1909 V.D.B. and 2 worn Mercs - 1918 and 1919. Still lots of grass to go over at this place!

Those pennies sure have a beautiful patina. Nice to see the VDB. The dimes do show some wear, but hey.....silver is silver! My mom always told me that it pays to go to church on Sundays. Guess you proved that! Congrats. HH Randy

The "S" mint mark is the real rare one - all VDB's are worth more than a plain one - maybe 10 to 20 bucks in this shape I'm guessing.
