Back to the filling station site with Bryce and Brad.

Me, Brad, and Bryce decided to go back to the old filling station site a few days ago to see if we had missed anything on our first trip.

We sure did,,,and had a good time too.

Brad found his first ever wheat penny which made us all happy. Especially Bryce who was glad to see him rubbing the crap out of his own coin.

It was really neat to see the smile on Brad's face when he found his first old coin. I remember having the same look on my face.

We all gridded the area the exact opposite direction as we did on the first trip and really had to work hard for more finds.

Brad even brought the backhoe out and scraped some more ground for us

Bryce finally got the only silver of the day and some kind of tax token.

We all found some stuff. I got 2 wheaties, Brad got one...and Bryce got several wheaties...a silver and a token.

We didn't figure we would find much but we were hoping to at least find something which we did.

It was just a fun time with friends and Hercules got some pizza crust.:)

It was a lot of fun Dave. We pulled a bunch of coins out of that place between us... in the 2 trips we made.
It was cool to see Brad pop an oldie out too.:thumbup:
 
Nice going Dave and your buddies as well.:clapping: Getting out with good friends is the best part and finding an old coin or two just makes it even better. Might want to hit that place again Dave. GL & HH.

Hard to find good friends willing to share a spot..... especially with a back hole :drool: You guys need to take up a collection and get Brad a pair of headphones. Im not sure you guys are detecting or just going out for pizza haha.

Dewcon friends are #1:thumbup:...pizza is a close 2nd:biggrin:...and hunting comes in a close 3rd:)

Bryce, Eddie. and Mark....it is always fun hunting with good friends and I think Brad might scrape some more area for us in the future.
 
Hi Dave. Nice hunt bud. You make sure Bryce gets you this way so you can hunt where the old stagecoach used to pass through.

My girlfriend even came to the living room to see what i was laughing so hard about.
That just hit my funny bone the way you put it.
I was getting a visual of bryce finding an old silver and Brad looking at it and rubbing it real hard.
