Back to the mountains = more neat old stuff.

Old coin hunter

Went back to the canyon where i had detected around the old stone foundation a couple of months ago and worked a couple of areas close to it that looked flatter than the surrounding areas and found this neat stuff. I'll go back as i only got to detect about an hour and a half. What i find interesting is the pieces of the pistol powder flask were manufactured in the middle 1800s and the Chevrolet "Key" is early 1930s. The "Key" had numerous "Tools" inside of it at one time as you can see by the photo. HH Jim

Love the Chevy “swiss army” key!!! Those type oddities keeps the heart beating!!!
 
I like that old powder flask!!!
I have only found pieces of them.
That one looks pretty intact!!
Great idea using the ruler for scale…
