Back-Up Metal Detector..??

My metal detecting buddy at the Post Office has a Teknetics T2 detector from 2016. He wants $100 for it, which is not a lot of money... Is it worth a $100.00 for a Back-Up Metal Detector..? I really have No idea... So I'm sure I'll get good advice on this Forum.

The T2 has always been an excellent detector.
My wife uses one of the green ones, and calls it the "Grean Bean", lol.
Very ergonomic, easy to use....and lot's of accessory coils available.

Yes they are great detectors. Super reliable and easy. Good depth and speed.
