Bad day turned out pretty good

Started the day out with a short in my headphone connection and since there was nowhere close to get it fixed had to hunt without headphones.Hunted 3 beautiful over 100 year old brick homes and just 2 or 3 wheats to show for it. On may way home passed by an old frame home that looked to had seen better days with a decent yard. There was an older lady sitting out front so I thought what the heck. She gave the the go ahead and 5 minutes later dug the 35 merc. ended up with about 10 wheats 2 indians and the nice 1908 quarter.

Wow, what a day saver....seems like many days the last spot is the best one! Unfortunately my last 12 hunts have been totally silverless for me, sure hope I find a nice silver yard soon, or I am gonna go bezerk!

Whats funny is the house I found all the coins in the picture was the one I would least expect to do well at. The other houses I hunted had silver written all over them and didn't have much of anything.

Fantastic pictures!! I love the 1902 Indianhead. And who wouldn't love a Barber quarter? Me!!! I haven't found one yet...but looking forward to that "first" some day soon. Congrats on a very satsifying hunt!!! Wow incredible!!!
