Barber, Bullets and first video

Got out for a while yesterday with a friend who was on vacation and Ashdigger for some relic hunting. We started out at an old house site where we found some bullets in the past and I dug 3 minie balls in the first 15 minutes before the signals just stopped. A little while later SWMO Mark stopped when he saw us and decided to do a little hunting too, it was nice to finally get to meet him.

A few hours into the hunt got a solid shallow quarter signal (not sure how that was missed before since this place has been pounded) that I thought was clad so I did not film it. Turned out to be a nice 1892 Barber Quarter only a few inches deep.

A while later we headed to a park that has given up some nice bullets in the past and I hit a good streak there digging up 7 bullets and a knapsack hook in just a few hours. Got a few of those on video. After that we headed to another park to finish out the fun day but unfortunately I did not find anything worthwhile to brag about.:wiggle:

This is the first video I have made so go easy on me. I did learn a lot and hopefully they will keep getting better as I continue to learn from my mistakes. Thanks.

That's a very good first video, Bob!! I like how you show the viewers the sound and ID of the signal before you make your recovery!! Very nice!!

Congrats on some great finds!!
