Ronstar and myself decided to hit a 1950's elementary school/city park yesterday. Ron beat me by 10 minutes, so I just started swinging, not sure where he had been already. Eighty cents in clad and 25 minutes later, the CTX gave me jumbled readings: 12 33, 12 41, 12 29, 12 40. It wasn't making any sense. Pinpointing was everywhere. First plug netted me a broken key. 7" over netted me a bent memorial. Put those plugs back and was getting a 12 41. Solid and unmoving. Well dammit, I might as well really tear the yard up, so popped another plug connecting all 3. Lower and lower I go, at 8", I see a silver rim. Call Ronstar over, and out pops this beautiful baby.
After filling up the hole, I was still getting a solid 12 41`. We excavated it later-- down deep there has to be something big, as we got about a foot down, the pinpointer wasn't registering anything so we gave up. Thinking about it last night, finding that Barber was a complete accident. IT was hidden by all the other metal.
My 4th quarter evah!
